Introduction
The core business of The Whirligig Group is a contracting company (specialising in the activities listed) in building and construction in the residential, commercial and industrial and government sectors.
The Directors have been in business for more than 15 years and have various experience and knowledge on the running and operations of the business and trade. We do not carry out Design, Development and manufacture of Products, however when required will engage an external consultant or subcontractor in the respective field of expertise.
The Directors and staff of The Whirligig Group will protect the health, safety and welfare of worker and others when in the workplace through the internal and external implementation across the business practice of all legal and other requirements, risk assessments, consultation and communication, planning, monitoring and rectifying issues, changes and legislative requirements under the following scope:
• Work, Health and Safety (WHS) ISO 45001:2018,
• Environmental (ENV) 14001:2015,
• Quality (QLTY) 9001:2015
These three Management Systems along with the Policy Manual, Forms and the Site-Specific Management Plan within “Whirligig” provide the basis of the Integrated Management System. The interchangeable documents, policies, procedures and forms are used to create the flexible working and changing IMS for this business.
Things that influence our Business
The business has determined the internal issues and external issues that may arise that are relevant to its purpose and those which affect our ability to achieve the implementation of the IMS. We have developed Registers to record the influencing factors.

Our company is committed to providing a workplace that enables all work-related activities to be carried out safely in accordance with all IMS requirements. The business will take all reasonable and practical steps to eliminate or minimise risks to health, safety and welfare of workers, contractors, visitors and any person who may be affected by our operations.
Management Review
Management shall review the operations of the business considering these needs and expectations to ensure that we are meeting and exceeding client expectation by using “Whirligig” to collect various data from forms and provide reporting to Management as required to enable the Directors to make informed decisions.
Internal Audit
A progressive internal audit shall be undertaken by “Whirligig” by prompting scheduled inspections and making available the outcomes as reports within the system. If any check is overdue or missed a notification is available within the system.
