Purpose and Objectives

This document outlines our company’s strategies to manage fire risk, comply with legal obligations in relation to fire safety and to provide appropriate training and information on fire safety.

Scope/Coverage

This policy applies to all persons in our company. Employees must be aware of their obligations under fire safety regulations.

Policy Statement

Our Company aims to ensure that all Workers, Contractors, Customers/Clients and visitors are protected from the risks of fire. Our Company has systems and procedures in place to safeguard the working environment and to ensure that fire systems and associated requirements are properly maintained in accordance with relevant legislation. These systems and procedures are codified in the Fire Safety Management Plan and Fire and Emergency Evacuation Procedures.

The company has a Fire Safety Management Plan (FSMP) which provides information on how the company manages fire risks and how they will respond in cases of a fire emergency.
